After the first half of the day riding Mont Rgauld on the Stylus swapped to the Starling for the second half of the day.
Old Man and A Hardtail Mont Rigauld Phase 1 Oct 18th 2025
Once pedals swapped it was on the lift and runs on the Starling. Riding in the afternoon made the decision to not do The Couloir as felt that had a second run on the hardtail on it that was good and mentally felt that since was later in day just focus on the less technically challenging runs. Kinda thought might be pushing my luck and save it for another visit when fresh. Best to let it be after one good run.
Kind of rode the more moderate trails compared to The Couloir. And this would be the first actual lift serviced enduro type riding where I wasn't attempting to set the bike up more. Only did video on two runs with the GoPro. The first being on Kamikaze.
After a few more runs did a run of Yakima with the GoPro on for the run. Looking at the data later it would appear that this run on video was a PR on Yakima. Coo that it happened. proof that working on just flowing or being as smooth as can be does more then how hard one can go.
Turns out the run on Yakima with the GoPro would be the last run of the day. Which was good as a good final run is the best ending of the day. And that way avoided mental fatigued caused crash and injuries.
