After a day of other activities felt like a bit of different type of ride and exploring. Play tourist but with a bike. After looking a Google Map had a rough idea and headed out for an explore.

Headed out to and turned onto Marina Bay Road which went round McKinnon's Salt Pond. Stopped at the two benches to look south over the pond towards St John's Harbour.
Spotted a dirt lane that went to the mouth of this little no name bay guess you could call it. Looked out at Sea Island Jetty.
Back tracked to the road and headed to Runaway Bay beach.
After enjoying the view and checking out the rocks at Runaway Bay Beach continued on and ended up in a local neighbourhood. Got slightly turned around and figured out the right streets to take to head for Fort James.
While navigating the neighbourhood spotted a little neighbourhood store. My buddy Marshall who spends a few moths every year in Jamaica has mentioned in the past stores like this. As said spotted it as riding by and of course had to do a u turn to get something to drink for later.
Picked up a couple of beers and couple of bottles of coke for later. If I hadn't brought the Stylus and ridden I would not have had this cool moment and contributed to a local little business in a less touristy part of the area. SO with beverages in the pack headed to Fort James.
Got to the English built Fort James at the entrance to St John's Harbour. Where other then a local mom and her kids playing in the shade. I was the only one there. So could wander around a bit and explore a little without distractions.
One spot looking south could see the Sleeping Indian near where had ridden three days earlier. And could see a wee bit of rain there in the distance.
Started heading back to the cottages as had been out for a while and was starting to think of food. Stopping to get a different view of McKinnon's Salt Pond. I learned later on that McKinnon's Salt Pond was a big bird watcher location. Though on this day didn't really see anything bird wise.
Though part of the way riding back saw a big sign talking about the efforts to protect the birds who access this pond. Hopefully more will be involved in protecting the island resources from harm.
Further on stopped at the benches again to look back towards roughly where I had ridden to. And this time it appeared that it was raining towards where I was this time. But not being a local I was probably off a bit in my guess.
Rode back to the cottage after a good wander and was time to chill bit on the deck before another hop in the pool. Beer cans and bottles in Antigua are smaller then in Canada. More like what saw I think as a kid. Which is actually nice as it truly is just the right amount.
After chilling on the deck and beer finished it was recovery time in the pool.
